only makes sense if you have a store or something where you’ll get lots of foot traffic daily.
I think it’s still more hype than real market adoption.
No enterprise client will purchase such unreliable data.
@bob_carsyn good luck with the non conflict disclaimer. Did u see the bit where they said about running dockers as ‘use at ur own risk’ ?
when the depin projects start to have conflicts or compatibility issues, which will be inevitable as they upgrade their versions, who will be responsible for fixing those bugs ? Try telling ur devs that u gotta fix someone’s else shit, u think they’ll comply ? Will dawn bother to step in ? I can see a shitstorm of mess coming unless they have a proper system and policy in place but I highly doubt it.
VCs have invested heavily in this and they’d cash out immediately. I haven’t bothered to see their tokenomics yet if they are any vesting etc but it doesn’t take a genius to do the math.
Especially if they’re selling at cost. (If you believe their word). How that flywheel of all 10 depins gonna combine and work together to generate profit for all ? Good luck figuring it out.
I could build a similar box with twice the specs for that sort of price. And still run more than 10 depin projects that are a lot better than that list. Easily. Storj ? Really ?
Can’t wait for Grass to come out their scammy box too.
