I have been monitoring this projected as kind of a “gag” hobby project for myself. I know there is a sweet spot you must hit in order to be rewarded. Was the app any good with feedback? Any other information you can give me about why you didn’t like it?
taking this photo from @neo_belaerixx post, it appears this shows staking? Or is this just a screenshot from tokenomics 2.0?
@artex440 Like I mentioned previously, I’ve been around the DePIN space for a while, so I didn’t come into the Discord asking any questions — I did my own research.
But within just five minutes of joining, I saw a newcomer who had bought a snake NFT (clearly the rarest part of the chair). His genuine question was why the snake multiplier was lower. Instead of anyone taking the time to explain that, the admins and members piled on with insults and mockery.
A few days later, another new member—someone clearly unfamiliar with DePIN—got tricked by one of the Discord scammers and was confused. Again, instead of offering an explanation or a bit of sympathy, people mocked him too.
I get that it’s not always the admins starting this behavior, but the problem is that they accept it, normalize it, and often join in themselves. For me, that’s a principle issue. If the culture around a project treats newcomers that way, it’s not something I want to support—especially when the money side of things is never guaranteed.
Thanks for keeping the conversation respectful, appreciate the comment!
