So interesting question.. What is your favourite DePiN project?
Can be for a variety of reasons, earnings, cost, the team, use cases, future potential etc…

I only get into early projects so I can milk the absurd token rates that get distributed during “genesis times”. It works out well pretty much always. One time I did get scammed (Defli) but other than thats I’ve always managed to pull tens/hundreds of thousands per project by dumping the tokens later on (when TGE happens normaly).
Right now I’m looking at 4DSKY. It’s like a wingbits competitor. It’s extremely early so very high risk high reward type of play. They seem to be good and have a plan together(doesn’t really matter for my strategy too much though). I like these types of risks. Tokens supposed to launch September 2025.
JD
@bob_carsyn My strategy is go after early projects. Wingbits is already old, I been mining it for like 2 years I feel like. Not sure but I had the DIY unit running for long time now. So I was able to mine a bunch of points/tokens. Now that the consumer version is being released you’ll never make the amount that early people mined. My DIY unit is still up and running but if it goes offline I don’t care. I’ve already moved into the next early projects. Nothing against Wingbits it’s just how I roll. Early or nothing.
bob_carsyn
@JD Got it, when you mean early , you mean REALLY early. I was interpreting early as pre-TGE.
CoinChaser
Mine has to be Geodnet… I’m just such a fan about how they did their thing. No big funding, no-nonsense marketing campaign, no rewards distribution for just having the miner online. On the contrary strategic planning and solid execution!
CoinChaser
@passivecryptomining What’s your your top while we’re at it haha
RADtx
@CoinChaser I really like Geodnet, but I think they are being too aggressive with the halvings. It was a model built on a more bullish market.
RADtx
@CoinChaser Yes. I’m afraid it won’t offer the incentive to grow the network. It is a fine line in rewarding early adopters and stifling growth. The time-based halving, as opposed to a blockchain metric, seems arbitrary and not tied to real-world adoption and use. I think they try to compensate with burns, but the token price has not cooperated.
CoinChaser
@RADtx But in theory a halving should influence the token price upwards and this should balance itself out overtime. It’s just less tokens for everyone.
bob_carsyn
I am going to cheat and mention two.
DeEEP - Project has a great team, existing revenue stream with great earning potential.
Entropy - Project has a lively community, & great art. Earnings is not the focus contrary to popular belief.
CoinChaser
@bob_carsyn Both of these projects are interesting, I met both teams and they are great!!
bob_carsyn
@elontusk007 I think don’t think scam is a fair way to characterize it. It’s clear you have a very strong opinion on the project and you are welcome to that. Others, like me don’t share it.
elontusk007
@CoinChaser Just because it’s clearly a scam doesn’t mean it’s not a scam.
elontusk007
@bob_carsyn I do think it’s fair. Any project that punishes you for trying to trying to make a profit is a classic scam. All it does it attempt to manipulate the tokens price to draw other in to spend their money with no way to get it back.
It’s no different than those scam coins that shut down the ability to transfer (sell) the token. They’ve just obscured it in the veneer of memes and the illusion that it’s possible you’ll be smart enough to not be left holding the bag.
They even hide the JD threshold to control people’s behavior with fear of getting bricked.
But you can save yourself from that! Just spend more money… eyeroll
