As a newbie to DePIN mining I got involved with $Wayru mining about a month before the TGE in May. I was a bit hesitant to rely on an infrastructure that was not established as my main access to Internet. I had many challenges along the way when adding new miners from outages with my ISP, and unstable network. Eventually I managed to get everything up and running on a new Starlink satellite installation as the main access with Wayru Apocalypse router as the secondary access point. Starlink 5G WIFI provides access for the televisions printers and other household devices. Indoor and outdoor mining devices are connected to the 2.4G Wayru Network.
This setup in my rural location is getting me optimal performance. Our mobile devices using Passpoint profiles seamlessly connect to the closest WiFi access point qualifying me for $Wayru rewards. After testing I found my laptop running mining nodes performs much better on the Wayru WIFI than Starlink WIFI. The network is more stable for these types of activities because the devices are mining as well is my assumption.
My overall experience is positive with Wayru Network & DePIN mining. My opinion is it may be a better option than others for me at this point considering the available rewards, hosting opportunities, and future improvements in the pipeline.

I run Wayru on Starlink as well and I don’t see much of a difference. Not sure why there would be?
