NATIX is a mapping app, no hardware
Helium Deploy does not sell this. I’m not trying to shill the product or gain a referral, just sharing information.
NATIX would compare to ROVR and other mapping devices that have specific camera hardware that must be used to map and earn rewards.
NATIX is a DePIN project that crowdsources real time maps using a smart phone camera mounted in your window and connected to live data. Rewards are given in the $NATIX token on Solana for driving and collecting video/road data. Company based in Hamburg.
I’ve used it over a year on a refurbished iPhone 12 on the Helium network. It does overheat occasionally because of processing and sunlight on a hot window.
Dashcam feature with a button to save the last minute viewed. No audio.
There is a Navigation feature that is still in Beta. Not very US map friendly in my opinion.
Lot of games/missions/etc to earn more points. 10 day Nitro period to earn more during that time frame. Not my thing so I’ve probably lost a lot of tokens on that.
There is a Marketplace that is region specific for DePIN and other store coupons.
Recently, a big push towards a Tesla connection - VX360. “A compact device giving Tesla drivers the power to access and monetize their 360 degree camera footage while earning crypto and non-crypto rewards…”
Mounting can be horizontal or vertical. Doesn't seem to affect the rewards.
“Display On” drains my battery and causes my phone to overheat quickly. That could be the age and condition of my phone.
Easy to operate: Start the software and place in mount and drive. Upload is live so it must have a connection. Nothing to do after you drive, just hit stop.
There is a 30 day delay on token withdraws or a 30% loss on instant withdraw requests. There is a Hodl Score reward to encourage users keep tokens in the app.
I’ll attach some pictures of the software, my two magnet mount options and a link to the playback.
