My mgw310 just did an automatic update. Seems successful update. First, update happened in the middle of the day. Maybe the update could be scheduled by the user or occur late at night say around 3AM local time for the unit. This is when my unit would be the least occupied
Next, after the update the RSSI data numbers have changed in tar1090. They don’t make sense anymore. the numbers go from 0.0 to -10.0DBFS. Prior the numbers were about -1.5db down to -30.0 to 35.0 db before aircraft signal lost which correlates with the db gain number on the gain graph in graph1090. Can you explain the new numbers? Matching scaling is important. The old numbers seemed more accurate and these new number looks less accurate, more granular. That is a 3X lower accuracy than the previous readings, unless you add an extra digit to the RSSI number such as 1.00 vs. 1.0. then the db graphs would also need to correlate.

I asked the question in the page bot balloon. I had asked a previous question there and received a fast response. This time no response ticket and the ai didn’t have a solution.
