In the video with DeEEP, John with Beamable mentioned the nodes could run on a raspberry pi, so minimal computing power needed. They are just checker nodes. In the DeEEP forum Nate give a good breakdown of what they will do.

I’m pretty interested in this node as well. Only question is what are the minimum requirements?
Yea you will need run it on a computer or a service like NerdNode. The setup is pretty simple. I’m sure @JD can give you a little more details on this.
I'd like to get a beamable checker node and I'm trying to find out, what exactly I have to do to get it running.
