I like the concept…but like all things it really depends on how much you can monetize your products, and I don’t really know how many customers there are for seismic data. Obviously educational study areas are interested, and USGS…but how much is that actually worth? dunno
Right now they use lorawan to validate your location, which is needed to go from 60% to 100% rewards. It will be interesting to see what this means in the future as more and more helium equipment goes offline…
