@irreverent_sol My units are both indoors, but with external antenna. If you can get to the sd card or whatever they have to change the operating system to Crankk then you should be ok.

What projects do you recommend for multi mining? or are there any to avoid? Thankyou
@naj548 it depends on several things: what device you have, what internet connection you have…. I have a Bobcat 300 that doesn’t have a great deal of resources so I haven’t put too many containers on it. I also have a SenseCAP M1 (R-Pi 4b inside) that is a lot more capable. I’m restricted because I have Starlink internet. I would try FlxTime, Duino, Bitping, Repocket, Honeygain, Mysterium… try them all. See what suits you best.
@Carnbrea Do you have on 1GB bobcat 300? I am running on a 2GB Bobcat. I do have a fast/stable internet connection. Why do you feel starlink limits you? Is it the up bandwidth for some projects? are you getting 100 gbs down? I have mysterium running now. Thank you for the recommendations and information.
@naj548 It’s a 2gb Bobcat. Starlink is plenty fast enough - 250 to 300 mb/s most of the time. The problem with Starlink is that it runs using CGNAT (I don’t fully understand this) and it affects port forwarding and incoming communications to the node. My Myst node always has poor quality.
UPDATE:
I switched Hivello off, as it contains a Myst function and I wondered if it was affecting my Crankk Myst node. It was. The node on my Sensecap has now switched to good quality and is transferring data for a variety of users. It seems to be doing what it’s supposed to. The Starlink issues mentioned above do not seem to be affecting throughput in any way.
Crankposting might be the most amazing cyclical sentiment low I’ve seen in October 2025 ty for posting 🫡

Plenty to do to keep interest levels up, and it gives the opportunity to earn a bit more in the absence of Helium traffic. Unfortunately the nearest gateways to me are 60 miles away. Hopefully some of the Helium gateways in the next town will wake up and start Crankking as well. Could do with integrating some more projects when they come along.
prob can’t use my helium outdoor units to crank some crank?
