@PacketThrower At $0.30 / day I should just pool mine with my Bitaxe 😅
Seriously though, I have a lot of foot traffic that goes by my hotspot (~15,000 - 20,000 / week) so there are a lot of different devices from all over the world that can connect.

@BogeysAndBlockchains Oh yes, you will have much different results that I would. I would say go for it!
I am curious, what type of venue are you anticipating putting this at?
I have not heard of Bitaxe before, what is this?
Based on the amount of traffic I am getting on my Karrier One, should I get a Helium hotspot? What would you assume I’d earn with one? (e.g. is it worth it??) and which one should I get? (I don’t really get the Helium hardware due to the evolution of the project.
@BogeysAndBlockchains from my experience, I’ve had my Helium Indoor at a photography studio in a small town since October 2024. I have 3 random carriers that are doing offloading, but I am the only person so far that has accumulated Data traffic on the Helium hotspot. The primary carriers around here are the big 3 and none are offloading off my hotspot.
The PoC alone since October 2024 was fantastic, but I’d say you would have to hope and pray you have enough traffic to get a big carrier to offload on the Helium. I am contemplating moving the Helium hotspot to my house since I have 3 devices I know will connect right to it. Since the Helium rewards were halved, I’m only getting $.20 to $.30 of PoC earnings a day compared to $1 to $1.20 last month.
Helium is how I started out and it’s exciting to work on, but the Carrier offload gamble is biting me now. BUT this is all based on your location, as you could have much better results than I.
