I have 4 Helium units and have been happy with them. Had for about 2 years now, never any issues with them, never had to replace the batteries, good solid units. I install them where I have IOT miners installed, or plan to. I’ve actually been thinking about maybe getting 2 more units.
So looking at Moken IOT Explorer, it seems that Furry Cotton Mustang & Smooth Sangria Sealion are both in the same hex? Is that correct? If so, that’s defeating the purpose of the network right there. Especially if you OWN both units. Since each unit will only have a transmit scale of .50 (Which means you are earning 50% of what a 1.0 station would earn).
Last I heard/read is that the IOT network is oversaturated with so many IOT devices right now. I think between my 2 IOT miners I make .05HNT per day. Rewards have dropped that’s for sure.
Wasn’t CBRS removed, so what are you mining with the FreedomFi?
@mash996 You still haven’t received yours!?!?!? 18 Months so you placed at the beginning of 2024? That’s just crazy, and I saw somewhere that they aren’t even shipping the orders in sequential order as they came in. So what does friends of Ariel, influencers OG’s all get theirs before everyone else. If I order today, and then 2 weeks from now a big fleet orders, I’m guessing they would fulfill the fleet order 1st, then mine……Seriously lots of shady practices by the one and holy supreme leader Ariel. He’s a classic narcissist and so full of himself. Hivemapper is ALWAYS the best project, no other mapping project comes close to HM and provides what they provide. Such BS. I’m glad I canceled my orders in 2024 and left this project.
If I were you, I’d cancel. Already waited 18 month, probably gonna have to wait another 12 months before you get the device.
And honestly I haven’t gotten into ROVR yet, but I really want to. But I’ve made a decent amount of $$$ with NATIX. Don’t have to spend tons of $$$ on a device, just use your phone and have a good mount/setup and you can do really well.
