@fortmining discharge the battery fully, which it should be by now, then let it charge to full. If you still can’t connect and reset then need to take apart the unit and use the reset button on the ESP32 board inside of it.

@PacketThrower For the most part I deploy to people who have an idea on what depin is and how it runs, or I work with my fleet managers where they find new drivers that are local to themselves and give them hands-on support to get the device up and running and instruct them on how to use it and handle any follow-up.

For the LC specifically I will spend a few days just running through all of the details with whoever I plan to give it to, to be sure they know what they are getting into. The data uploading is by far the most challenging part of the LC operation; most people don’t realize how much data it generates, and they don’t realize that their ISP probably can’t handle it.

@Butters all personally owned devices will still work, no plan to block them for operation.

The new staking system is only for getting new devices. But even after Dec 15 you could still buy a device from places that still have them in stock to sell, like Helium Deploy, and operate them on the network.
