Yes, I was imaging flat rooftops where I have DePIN stuff already where this would work.
Interested to see the details.

I invested in Decharge and so far I am happy with it, the SOL kickbacks are nice
Obv not financial advice and do your own research
I like the concept, but need to read more about it.
Obviously the charging station needs to consume the Geodnet RTK data and the Wingbits ADS-B data, but if this charging pad is getting designed with both of these projects in mind then I would be curious if they are also planning to include a Geodnet and Wingbits receiver on it to expand those networks + allow triple mining. Neat in theory if true, but my feeling is it won’t include them due to cost.
My feeling is it will just be a charging station that consumes network data from Geodnet and Wingbits, and similar to the Rovr and Geodnet partnership it will result in token burn for Geodnet on the RTK subscription fees and probably similar for Wingbits.
Will be very interesting to see the installation requirements…also curious how they are going to integrate with FAA control systems for drone flights.
JD mentioned this on the call today — cool to see a full DePIN use case finally taking shape. Wingbits + Geodnet + Decharge seems like a real shot at decentralized drone deliveries. What do you guys think about it?
I also love the idea and the partnership! Sounds like a the perfect combo! After the announcement i did some research on Decharge. I would love to set up a group of EV charging stations around town, just don't know what kind of infrastructure i need to set up.
Regarding the drone charging i am wondering how exactly they will pull it off. Will all the drones need to have proprietary batteries to allow wireless charging. I build drones and have a couple DJIs and those batteries would not work with autonomous charging. If they need proprietary batteries, I see this as an obstacle. Am really interested to follow this partnership!
