Im 10 miles from JFK airport(NYC) and 15 from La guardia. 2 Major airports planes overhead all day and my hex is unclaimed. Is this project worth it? Heard a lot of mixed reviews

@eye4detail+1b070311 I have Geodnet running so buying the mgw310 doesnt really work for me. im at 99.8% RRR so i have a good spot, hoping i can mount them right next to each other and not have any disturbance

I would go for it - once you lock the hex its yours and keep minting coins :)

I have 1 Wingbits device and from my home, I am covering most of the UK (and some of Europe), I am not sure living so close to the airport matters that much. I know the US is much larger than the UK, so my coverage is about 400 mile across. If that helps?
Get the device that earns Geodnet tokens and your earning twice. $Wings is still in testnet, so I have no idea what these will be with when it goes mainnet. It’s a bit of a gamble not knowing.

You said it yourself. Mixed reviews.
You will have to decide for yourself.
I feel like Helium Deploy/Moken are very open and honest. JD has always shared his honest opinion on all social media channels despite the topic.

Order the mgw310 and lock in your hex. sounds like your in a good position and will get a lot of ads-b traffic. Make sure your antenna is high enough, line of sight, to get clear signals. Plus you get geodnet data/tokens which are pretty good. again antenna high enough to clear at least above 10 degrees of horizon. Wingbits will get better as they can sell the data commercially which is lucrative market.
