Dang sorry to hear about your loss. Hopefully, you recover and remember that all DM’s are scams.
Dang sorry to hear about your loss. Hopefully, you recover and remember that all DM’s are scams.
i’m sorry to hear this happened to you but take the L and learn from it .. this type of stuff happens in every project && in every discord server everywhere all the time .. you’re not the first and you definitely will not be the last .. it’s not all about you .. no need to blame anyone else but yourself for your own mistakes .. there’s a special level in Dante’s Inferno for scammers
Wait. Are you the guy that said you don’t have 350 for an nft and then called the project a scam and said you were going to report them to the EU police or something like that ?
This is definitely a hard lesson on the dangers in Discord DMs.
Sorry you got scammed.
Not giving seed phrase and not accepting random DMs is common sense to those who were trying to assist you in the Entropy discord.
Hope this lessons sticks with you with the next project you support.
Please warn all the other newbs to never give out wallet info or access…no support ever needs that…always a scam if they DM u
Or was this in the Moken Discord?
Did this person reach out to you in the Entropy Discord? I do not see a post there?
@bob_carsyn yes, then the group put me down and basically said I should kill myself. Sent them to customer car but they don’t care. Discord depincels scary and mean. Bullied and taunted by group
@Cryptomadman No one told you these things. All we did was try to help you. You wouldn’t answer simple questions about your scamming experience.
@Cryptomadman Again I will try to help you. Did you give the scammer your seed phrase or did you connect your wallet to a dAPP? Simple question. Has different outcomes depending on what you did.
@PuNkYsHuNgRy Yes, held the account hostage and knew everything about me. Felt like from with in. They told me I had changed to 12 words not 24 words. So I did and lost everything. Starting over. I bet I missed a step ort something but no one cares, including customer care who sent me there.
@Cryptomadman Did you give them your 12 words then? If you did do this there is nothing anyone can do. The scammer has full control over that wallet now and forever. Since that wallet is soulbound to the Ashlar it cannot be changed and the Ashlar needs disposed of and replaced. There is a 5 device limit, possibly you can tell us your wallet address or miner name and we can brick it leaving another spot open for another device. Sorry this happened to you, I know what it feels like to be scammed. Let this be a lesson to you that crypto isn’t all puppies and unicorns.
@Cryptomadman You refused to answer our questions.
If anyone wants to see the interaction over at the Entropy Discord, start here at his very first post:

@PuNkYsHuNgRy yes, I get it out the money no one cares and I would guess this help was nice. I give up on it. I was on the list to get 4 more. But not willing to start them or use them because of this scam. This is why I am giving up on america. Even my mining pool took my coins. unreal and not help in sight. I cannot even find the direction again. Thanks for being nice. I get it moving on and giving up is my only out. It seems like an inside person they showed me what was wrong. Best of luck to anyone that cares. I would help anyone and enjoy giving but draw the line at stealing. Shame on whoever has wallet address that will be posted in the morning.
@Overboosted I went of script and must have missed it. Plus customer support told me who to look for customer support. Thank you for trying but I lost it all. Good luck to all legit peeps out there.
@Cryptomadman Remember, Entropy did not scam you. Some random predators on Discord did. Hope you can recover from this.
@PuNkYsHuNgRy someone from with in. They had wallet address and suck like you have. Confuse and scam. Them all the nice people making fun of me just very run. Here is the latest one ready to scam.
@Cryptomadman Hope I save one person from this unsustainable loss. Good luck will post more pictures to help you avoid my loss. They started by saying you miner was out of date and need to be updated again?
After this, you can only have a 12-word seed phrase. Hope this helps someone not get scammed
@Cryptomadman I am sorry to hear you got scammed. I have unfortunately witnessed this same scenario hundreds of times over the last few years. If you did not onboard your remaining 4 Ashlar miners, you can easily sell them on eBay and probably make a small profit as they are out of stock worldwide. Were you able to save any of your Acolyte NFTs? Or were they all stolen too?
@Overboosted Yet, you knew I still had them because they are easily traced. So helpful, and I answer questions when people answer mine. Works both ways. Especially when you are not taunting or making fun of someone.
@Cryptomadman We honestly did try to help you as much as we could. Unfortunately, if you give someone your seed phrase there is nothing anyone can do to help you. Also, most of what you posted we were unable to understand well enough to help you.
As @Overboosted said, we are genuinely sorry you were scammed, and hopefully you learn the lesson for anywhere in the crypto space:
1) Never accept unsolicited DM’s on discord for help
2) Never give your seed phrase to anyone
@bob_carsyn Yes, but they already had it. This was inside. They held my account hostage not nice people. Now certain agency had me load the wallet again and let them take. Best of luck
@Cryptomadman I should say they had the 24 passkey and changed to 12 to allow my miner to go on network. It was a game and I lost. I just am trying to warn people about discord. Been a lot of years and hopefully many more before I a robbed by Discord
@Cryptomadman I knew nothing. Sure, things are easily traced on blockchain, but you never posted your wallet address and nobody even asked for it here or on Discord. I never taunted you, however, your reluctance to answer some simple questions asked by me and other trying to help you was frustrating. Sorry you got scammed, have a nice day.
@Cryptomadman I’m not sure when you will realize they didn’t have your phrase until you gave it to them. Anything they told you to do regarding changing your phrase or anything else was part of the scam. No one from Entropy was “in on it” except for the scammers that unfortunately lurk on every discord you are in whether you like it or not. Anytime you ask for help on any server you will get tons of DM’s and friend request from people pretending to be on the team or a support person. Some even match up the usernames and profile pictures of trusted advisers to trick you. We are trying to educate you on this so it doesn’t happen to you again.
@Cryptomadman as a victim of a scammer myself, who lost upwards of 20k worth of Helium, IOT & Mobile tokens; likely 20+ x’s what you lost; I can say I’ve been in your shoes. It sucks. but the ONE person who reached out and gave me solid advice was @Overboosted - he took the time and energy out of his personal life to help me, a complete stranger. Which is what he’s doing here. We all dislike scammers - they are scum and look to take the easy way out.
There is absolutely no “internal scamming” going on in entropy and in fact multiple layers of security, warnings and community support are provided. again, sorry this occurred, but I think your anger is directed at the wrong people. You should be trying to trace back the scammer who you had the conversation with. Best of luck
@PuNkYsHuNgRy When I clicked on Matrica. They added exodus wallet. Which seems to have hold of ones I never gave them. Then they even took two other wallets. This is where coldstorage is must. No help so far except a paid service that showed me how they got me. Watch out and get a cold storage wallet.
Help customer service wont. They are on discord stealing my $$. Stay way they took all my 18 NFT cashed all my coin in. Help
Damn
