Yea I have the same issue with my kiddos phones. I have, in most cases, disabled mapping, closed the app, re-open and enable mapping again, and this gets'er going again. I feel your pain 😢

I would make sure that you are not in battery saver mode. I also find it frustrating that the app does this. I just make sure I open it once a day to make sure it is active. Although, the rewards i am getting is around 0.13-0.15/day. Signed my parents up recently and they actually went away with the HNT rewards. They now reward in points that can be redeemed for gift cards. Kind lame but makes me feel like an OG.
A few friends and I have been on helium mobile for over a year now. We all own android phones. Lately we've noticed that the discovery mapping will not sync any mapped hexes if the app was last opened more than an hour ago, which is quite disappointing because we all drive trucks and provide a lot of data to Helium to the tune of over 10GB worth in just 2 months on my own phone, sometimes for zero reward. Has anyone found a way to keep the app working more dependable with less unnecessary manual force closures/restarts of the app?
I only see people with Android complaining. Some people report better performance if you pin the helium mobile app to the active bucket so it doesn’t drop to the background, as well as to disable battery optimizations for the helium mobile app.
However if you have the ability to run it on an iPhone then I would recommend it since it’s much more stable and the only thing you really need to do is just make sure the helium mobile app is kept up to date.
