I feel uncertain for both projects given Helium is in that space for long …
But if I have to choose, I’ll give Roam a shot since those guys have
put so much efforts into their consumer-end app (I mean, you can download the Roam app and check out yourself, they even put AI Agent in it …)
they have better security guarantees w/ end-to-end encryption
I have been running a Karrier One for a couple of months now. Serving quite a bit of data (1/2 GB / day average). Won’t know how profitable or not until TGE. I have the Roam app on my cell. I don’t want to take the time to learn how to turn their points into actual funds so I haven’t been in a big hurry to pay money for a device. I do have a Helium HS on the way so I am eager to see how it does vs the Karrier One on data and rewards
