so listen up dude/dudettes… my wingbit died after some heavy rain on 27 april. Did the usual checks, breaker box, GCFI, power supply, power cord. All tested fine, so it leads me to believe that this unit has the same issue as the first generation or first batch that hyfix released. (oh and by the way, still waiting for that one to be replaced.) I was really hoping that it was anything other than this but unfortunately no. It’s like no power no nothing.
So going through emotions with hyfix to get it replaced, which is been under a year, so should still be under warranty, but my Two concern are how long do I have to wait for the replacement and secondly, what about the rewards.? Like I think is BS that getting dinged (and not paid for all these days that the units are down. I mean, I am fortunate to have ordered two additional units before the first one broke down. That’s the only reason why I was able to be up and not miss out on the beta, but like now when it really matters, shouldn’t there be like some kind of hot or pool that we get compensated for when our units go down like this when it’s not our fault?
