@Xrave For anti-gaming prevention, for example inside house like you mentioned, we have algorithms to identify this, but yet to implement.
(1) We compare device data with public data
(2) We compare device data with other surrounding device data
(3) We compare such device data day and night
Such issue can be spotted easily.
Multiple stations will fall in the same hex, which will reduce the reward. The hex mechanism will be implemented.
The Proof of Contribution mechanism will be live in a couple weeks, and such issues will be dealt with.
@HUson1 Yes, it is same in Africa. Thanks.
@CoinChaser With industry grade device, that is possible.
@bob_carsyn For a user to evaluate this, the key question to answer is: which project can generate sustainable data revenue from its device and platform. This is a one million question for all DePINs.
We are determined to achieve this and working towards it.
@DepinMasterMind WeatherXM has done a good job and we respect them very much.
When it comes to data monetization, it is a complicated matter indeed. One needs to ensure:
(1) High quality data from industry-grade device
(2) Able to turn data into solutions
These are the barriers to entry.
@fortmining Can you send an email to customer@skyxglobal.com for customer support.
Alternatively, talk to @skyx_network on telegram for any technical issues.
Q1: We are going directly to the demand area, that is why agriculture and smart city are our first targeted areas.
Q2: There will be, similar to Geodnet, we will have superhex mechanism to provide additional incentives, e.g. % data revenue share.
Q3: Still under the hex mechanism. Right now we don’t penalize over saturation, but later on, the mechanism will be be in place.
@bob_carsyn At the moment, we do not have customers who are paying for data. However, we are about to launch a couple of projects with professional grade device in agriculture and smart city sectors (July). Data contract will be finalized when the project is implemented.
@william The new site will be launched in July, and explorer will be on. Thanks for your attention.
Thanks for noticing.
We participated in a few campaigns, and many users flushed in. We are also trying to figure out this issue.
@Farkus Thanks for the question. Our vision is to build a data infrastructure for weather and environmental data. We will soon launch a new device that can onboard other sensors. In addition to connecting our devices, we will open up the platform and the ultimate goal is to become an outdoor IoT data hub. Just an example, our agriculture solution will have a soil sensor to be connected to our weather station to collect soil data.
