Congrats on your first project! I’ve been considering DIMO for months now and when I pulled the trigger all this nonsense about subscriptions comes up. We’ll see what happens. Currently waiting on my Wingbits MGW 310 arriving at the end of the month. Lol looking forward to studying my own new baby. May have to take a chainsaw to my neighbors trees.
It’s been an amazing dream come true getting my first depin install project deployed, never thought it would be easy but a great community provided the necessary support.
I have been watching and studying to make notes of my observations and areas I could work on to provide stability to my new baby in the sky.
A few of my observations for those deploying in a testing environment like mine.
You definitely will need backup power.
Then a back up internet provider exceed you’ve got starlink.
Even the the challenges at at I got very excited and motivated seeing that in 48hrs I made top 1%, am truly honoured to be part of the Moken community in taking my next steps.
I’m so glad that i pulled the trigger on the MGW310 Wingbits miner! I Do not use a back up power source, i just run it through my attic and plugged into the wall. I did knock it out of the wall one time, which was inconvenient because I lost my Geodnet RRR percentage. It is better to have it plugged in through ethernet. Wingbits is still in devnet but they should TGE in Q4.
