The outdoor hotspot came in today. After work I gathered some tools and went up to the roof to mount it on an air conditioner cover. It took maybe 20 minutes. The PoE was run already. I just had to make a patch at the main switch. Getting about 140 Mbps. I have no Idea if this will pay back or not.
Here is the view of the antenna.

up and running, finally.
It was a long 19 days. After a few hours the CDR was not valid. I needed another phone to run Helium Mobile to validate. The first phone was lost in the mail. The 2nd one came in and I got helium running. Pushed traffic through the hotspot, but no CDR validation. Turns out I was using the Free Wifi network, not Helium, so the cdr didnt validate. Many emails back and forth from tech support.
Finally I tried the Helium Network. Pushed data again, and low and behold, I am VALID!
What happens next? Hopefully I will be recognized by carriers. The cell service on my back roof isnt great. This could be an improvement. Time will tell
