Am i missing something? What is the current hype around Nubila?
Am i missing something? What is the current hype around Nubila?
@KronzrI’ve made a few videos about that :) https://youtu.be/obho86oReFg https://youtu.be/yy5kamYx7So https://youtu.be/60ESiZDKVtM

As far as I know, at this point, we are just buying an NFT and attaching that to a console to be eligible for that initial airdrop. After TGE, nodes will become active and then we can install them on our small machines (by the requirements in documentation, and on HD requirements are low) and recieve rewards on them.
It is written down in Nubila documentation that Nodes will not yield rewards until we are on mainnet.
@crypto_bodul to clarify, you can add your node to their dashboard now to earn $b3tr tokens, and eventually after TGE $nubi tokens.
It says on their site “Lightweight Deployment: Run a node on low-end hardware or VPS using Nubila’s simple software package (Web UI, CLI, or Docker).”
Docker supports every os. It sounds like “managed” is coming after self hosted.
The min specs requirements are:
CPU: 2 Cores
RAM: 4G
Storage: 4G
Bandwidth: 10 Mbps up/down (or higher)
I was told by them today these are the specs needed, not even sure if their site is up to date on it but the HeliumDeploy site is:

I believe they are remote hosted. You buy it and just on board it on the nubila console and you’re done.
@Xrave The influencer crowd has been going round and round on this. We understand that you can self host or remote host. I guess we will learn tomorrow when the nodes get released. I read somewhere that it runs on linux but I can’t remember where I saw that now.

@Xrave I saw you can self host them, opened a ticket on their discord to understand if they run on Raspberry Pi, keep you guys updated on the response!
@Xrave Got a reply from their Discord support.
Long story short: currently is not yet defined the OSs that the node will support, it's a matter of future technical development.
Potentially, in the future, any machine with the specs reported by @JD can run a node, provided that the solution will be dockerized (as their github says), but currently there is no official info.
Official info available and updated: https://nubila.gitbook.io/nubila/nubila-validator-node-interpretation/running-and-delegating-nubila-validator-nodes
@Xrave BTW trying to reach you on Discord waiting for your validation :D
No requirements just make sure the Node is staked in your Nubila dashboard. Then claim your rewards from the airdrops in B3TR. Step two stake B3TR in the dashboard. It might ask for a referral code, I got this one to work after trying my own and a few others: eoDODb
