What is the current supply looking like of the Dor Lite devices? Is this going to be something that if ordered will take months to be fulfilled? Or do you believe you can keep up with demand?
Sorry didnt mean to add this as a reply @Xrave

@Xrave great questions and some feedback:
Tier 1 – Non-Commercial (50 DOR/day)
We offer a non-commercial tier because every deployed Dor Traffic Miner (DTM) adds value to the network — even if the host isn’t a paying subscriber. These installs expand our coverage, strengthen the network, and make it easier to launch low-friction pilots.
Tier 2 – Commercial (100 DOR/day + bonuses)
A commercial location is an active business site using Dor’s analytics to optimize operations, typically through a paid dashboard subscription. These can include retail stores, restaurants, gyms, museums, and other venues with steady public traffic.
Verification
We verify commercial use through dashboard subscription records and location profile details. A home business can qualify if it has measurable, customer-facing foot traffic — but simply putting a sensor in your house without public visitors won’t.
Why it matters
The value of the data grows exponentially with the number of DTMs deployed. One location can improve scheduling and conversion rates; a hundred locations can inform regional staffing, marketing, and operational decisions — driving measurable ROI.
@Bitbeard The initial Helium Deploy drop will be for 500 DTM’s shipping immediately. Additional inventory and keeping up with future demand is a non issue on the Dôr side of things.
@Dor_Rob thanks for the replies.
I understand the concept, but not sure how random guy putting it above his front door helps strength the network or make it easier to launch pilots. Of course the ROI on ~$0.50/day should dissuade it, but if someone is actually installing it at their home then their only strategy is to just dump the tokens and create sell pressure.
@Xrave Tier 1 – Non-Commercial (50 DOR/day)
Tier 1 is for testing and learning. Install your DTM at home, in a small office, or another easy-access location to get familiar with the setup, the dashboard, and how to explain the value to others. Rewards are intentionally modest to discourage “farming” tokens from low-traffic sites. Think of it as your sandbox before you place units where they’ll generate real business value.
Tier 2 – Commercial (100 DOR/day + bonuses)
Tier 2 is for active business locations — retail stores, restaurants, gyms, museums, etc. These sites use Dor’s analytics to optimize their operations through the dashboard, and that’s why you earn double the rewards. The more commercial locations you manage, the more valuable your data becomes — from improving a single store’s staffing to making regional marketing decisions across 100+ sites.
Tier 3 – Revenue Share
Once you start deploying DTMs into paid commercial accounts, you can also earn ongoing revenue share from those subscriptions. This is on top of your daily token rewards. If you help a location become a paid subscriber, you participate in a share of the subscription revenue for as long as they stay active — turning installs into a recurring income stream.
Takeaway for DTM Buyers
Tier 1 = learn and demo.
Tier 2 = scale your installs and token rewards.
Tier 3 = recurring revenue share from paying customers.
On the tier 3 model/sub model, do we still get the 100/day like in Tier 2?
Here’s the dashboard that comes with every DTM install 📊
Each new location instantly appears in your Admin dashboard. From there, you can:
Invite the store owner to see only their location’s data
Compare traffic, revenue, transactions, and conversion rates across locations
Spot trends with line, bar, and heat maps
Export reports anytime
Helium Deploy clients get 6 months of dashboard access free — perfect for pilots like @Spencer_DTM mentioned. Set them up, let them see the data in action, and they won’t want to turn it off.
(GIF + spec sheet below shows exactly what they’ll see)
Is there a list of all the PoS systems that this hooks up with?
@Bitbeard the one click integrations are Lightspeed, Square, Vend, and Shopify. I find that many of my clients also OPT to use DORs API. They made it very easy to access and use. Scroll down a bit, there’s a full response on this from Rob
What about locations that multiple entrances? Can you have multiple of these at the same location?
@Bitbeard yes! I have some locations that have over 4 entrances. They’ll all combine on the dashboard.
@Bitbeard Yes you will get rewards for each sensor deployed even if they’re at the same location
@Bitbeard 4 sensors = 4x rewards like @DOR_pylon mentioned. The only thing that’s location based is the subscription for the analytics dashboard.
@Bitbeard Exactly. Think of a place like the US Army Aviation Museum in Alabama (I’m sharing pics and link to X post showing that one: Dôr in Army Aviation Museum ) — they’ve got 6 doors that all lead into the same “West Entry.” We install x6 Dôr Sensors (one at each door) and link them on the backend under that single entry.
On the dashboard, all 6 sensors’ counts are combined, so you see the total net traffic for that doorway, not 6 separate numbers. The museum just pays one location subscription for that entry, even though it’s made up of multiple doors.
Same thing works for a store with 3–5 separate doors into one space — we set up as many sensors as needed, link them together, and it’s still one subscription. You still get DOR rewards for each sensor deployed.
I just want to say this. Don’t get locked on just retail. Your potential customer base is SO much more. You’ll find a lot of success with clubs, spas, resorts, and even in-door popup events. Check out this beautiful club. (the DTM is right next to their black sensor)
I see in the documentation that it does not rely on wifi at the deployment site but uses it’s own cellular network. Is that still the case? Do they have LTE built in and which network(s)? Primary concern is adequate coverage
@BogeysAndBlockchains You may be looking at our legacy product - the DTM relies on wifi at the deployment site. Using the DTM App you will be able to provision the DTM with the required WiFi credentials.
@BogeysAndBlockchains With all that said, the wifi setup is VERY easy. Similar to getting your phone connected. You’ll be in and out in 5 mintues for a single entrance install.

Apologies if this is answered in the documentation but my question might be of interest to many of us here:
Is the sales model simplified accurately as “sell our service at the price you, the seller determine and we’ll handle it from there + send you half of recurring revenue?”
If so, what is your monthly price floor for what we know we can’t go below for a site to receive ongoing service?
Many of us here have a number of wi-fi enabled cell data service products we deploy in businesses… products like Helium Mobile Hotspots and XNET-enabled access points. Where we place these devices and trying to conservatively set expectations for usage rely on us determining foot traffic and dwell time. Since this device could help us determine this, Can and how could we go about offering a free trial of Dor? That would increase sales of Dor since it proves its value to business owners.
For hesitant business owners, is there a process for deployers to place a Dor device that only gives us the data about their site’s potential for placing our other DePIN projects? If so how much would that cost us initially and then per-month?
@FreeShkreli
✅ Sales Model
Yes — you can set the subscription price you offer to a commercial client. Dôr handles the billing and service, and you receive 50% of the recurring revenue + ongoing token rewards.
📉 Pricing & Flexibility
Our standard pricing is $150/month or $135/month if billed annually.
That’s the baseline we recommend for ongoing service, but you have the flexibility to charge more (or in certain cases less) depending on circumstances, the client relationship, or bundled offerings.
🎯 Free Trial
Every DTM deployed through Helium Deploy comes with up to 6 months of free dashboard access for the business. This lets you prove value before converting them to a paid subscriber — you decide when the timing is right during that trial period.
📊 Using Dôr for Site Analysis
If you want to install a DTM purely to assess foot traffic/dwell time for your own DePIN planning (without giving the business access):
You simply connect the DTM to your own Dôr Dashboard account and keep the data private.
Cost: same as a normal DTM purchase, with no ongoing SaaS fee unless you activate the client’s paid dashboard.
This makes Dôr a flexible tool — you can use it to generate revenue, validate locations for other deployments, or both.
@FreeShkreli Here’s my experience. First off, DOR sells directly to retailers from their website, and are getting $150 monthly all day long. With that said, I’m in a different market (south america) and aim to be a little lower, but I still show the U.S pricing. (making sure they see the deal they’re getting). You have the ability to allow your retailer to pilot the system / data for as long as you’d like within your 6-month free period. My advice would be to set that to 14-30 days. As a company that goes from no traffic data, to traffic data, will not let you turn it off. Especially if you get them to tie in some sales data. Also, a big tip, don’t forget to highlight it’s 100% wireless, and is installed within 5 minutes. Can’t beat that.
@dor_rob Excellent answer with lots of details and yet still concise, thank you! I’ll be investigating this further.
Do you have marketing assets available to help explain and provide value to store owners?
@BogeysAndBlockchains Yes please check out our marketing assets here: https://docs.getdor.com/dtm-docs/marketing particularly the “Retail Information Deck”
@BogeysAndBlockchains DOR has a ton of professional material they can share to help you get started. I’d also be happy to give you anything that I have personally put together. (client store videos & presentations) My material is mostly in spanish. Here’s an example of a landing page put together for the latin market. https://www.smartcountsbo.com/
@Spencer_DTM Great site! @DOR_pylon I’d like to do review DOR on my YouTube as well https://www.youtube.com/@Bogysandblockchains You and or the Moken HD team can reach out here or on my channel if you are interested. I have a few friends that have restaurants where I could deploy these
Hey DOR team, Your product is looks very interesting & i will soon make a video about your Project on my YouTube Channel. I have a question, is this device only for Commercial use or we can install it in Residential places? Thanks…
@Raptor Yes you can install it in residential places as well and earn rewards. We also have a bonus for creating social content! Definitely connect with Rob and we will help push your video 🙂
@Raptor I’ve got one on my front door… Family might not approve, but it’s worth the $DOR
Also, can you give some insight as to the subscription setup and interface? In other words, if/when I deploy these what do I see and control versus what the store owner sees and controls? Main concern is revenue generation, of course
@BogeysAndBlockchains You will be able to manage your fleet of devices using the “DTM App” which is a mobile device app. You can see more information here: https://docs.getdor.com/dtm-docs/dtm-app
The retailer will have access to the “Analytics Dashboard” which you can see more information about here: https://docs.getdor.com/dtm-docs/dtm-app/features/analytics-dashboard
@BogeysAndBlockchains You can run a pilot first.
When you install a DTM in a store, you can give the store owner free access to their dashboard as a pilot (up to 6 months free included with every Helium Deploy drop). This lets them see their hourly/daily/weekly traffic, sales conversion rates, and weather impact — all privacy-first, with no cameras or PII.
You control the setup.
From your Datapreneur Dashboard, you:
See all your DTMs (uptime, earnings, status)
Invite store owners to view their own location’s data
Set the subscription price when they’re ready to upgrade
Track both cash revenue share (50%) and DOR token rewards from active subscriptions
They control their store view.
The store owner can only see their own location’s analytics — not your other installs.
How the revenue works:
You decide when to turn a pilot into a paid subscription.
Example: A $150/month subscription = $75/month cash + 3,750 DOR tokens for you.
Dôr handles all billing — you just provide the store’s email and subscription amount.
Why it works:
Whether it’s one store or 100, the value multiplies with every install — both for the business (more insights) and for you (more revenue + tokens).
@BogeysAndBlockchains The backend is incredibly easy to use. Real-time notifications alert you instantly when a system requires new batteries or goes offline, ensuring proactive maintenance. This streamlined functionality makes the service side of your business seamless and efficient. I’m managing hundreds of sensors without issue.
@BogeysAndBlockchains great to hear, more than happy to setup a demo / zoom anytime.
What POS’s do you integrate with?
@BogeysAndBlockchains We have direct, oAuth integrations with Lightspeed, Square, Vend, and Shopify. We also have the capabilities to integrate with any other system using automated data exports (our system can automatically ingest these exports via email)
@DOR_pylon@BogeysAndBlockchains bogeyThe South American market often lacks mainstream POS systems, making automated data export the preferred solution for seamless integration. The DOR team will collaborate closely with you to ensure flawless data delivery tailored to your needs. Alternatively, many clients choose to leverage DOR’s API to directly pull data into their BI platform, offering greater flexibility and control.
Hey, is this data valuable or monetised by anyone besides the one store owner, or just them?
@Farkus We have other monetization channels for the data as well. It is aggregated and anonymized and sold to companies such as Foursquare and listed on the Snowflake Marketplace. In these channels it is used as a ground truth data set for algorithm development and research.
@Farkus Great question — the short answer is: both.
When a Dôr Traffic Miner (DTM) is installed, the location owner gets private, camera-free analytics that are instantly valuable for staffing, marketing, and operations.
At the same time, anonymized data from that DTM feeds into the global Dôr Network, powering insights for enterprise brands, commercial real estate, and events.
The more DTMs you deploy, the more valuable the network becomes — for you, the location owner, and the entire ecosystem.
Dor is a battery-operated, people-counting hardware device you can place in any doorway, anywhere. We’ve been operating for 10 years… Launching soon on HeliumDeploy here: https://heliumdeploy.com/products/dor-lite
With me I have Rob our Head of Partnerships, and Spencer one of our datapreneurs currently with hundreds of devices deployed in South America.
Looking forward to answering your questions!
@DOR_pylon so the information shared says:
Tier 1 – Non-commercial: 50 DOR/day (~$0.50/day)
Tier 2 – Commercial: 100 DOR/day + bonuses
Offering the tier1 non-commercial rewards is nice…but the question is why? What benefit does dor get from providing token emissions to locations that ultimately wouldn’t be buying a subscription to the dashboard?
For tier2 commercial use, what defines a commercial location? How do you prevent people from installing at their house and claiming it’s for commercial use? Similarly, what about people who actually do have a home business with traffic, would this still be included in the commercial category?
