First Hexplorer quest was the fastest wah for ROI . Made 180$ , now it will be more work as the closest empty hex is 200km away 😂

Went out yesterday…..drove quite a ways to grab clear hexes (had grabbed all the ones nearby in the original quest). In the first hex, the Pulse worked well. Heard “ca-ching” as the tokens came in. Alas, while still well within this first hex, I was never able to secure the last one, so went away with 18 out of the 20. Proceeded to drive to a neighboring empty hex. Nothing happened. Drive drive drive. No “ca-ching”. RTK was solid the entire time. Good satellite view. Pulled over, disconnected the Pulse, quit the app, restarted everything. Solid RTK. Drove and drove and drove from one end of the hex to the other. Wasn’t able to get ANY fixes in this clear, empty hex.
So for others out there I will be curious to know if you encounter issues. Not really complaining about this (well maybe a little ;-) ); just want others to be aware that collecting may not be 100%.
@Compass I had something similar happen last quest. I think there was somebody else claiming the hex at the same time.
@dbome my second hex is still clear today, so it doesn’t seem as though there was anyone else working it. Thank you for the info though. So maybe it is not just me.
@Compass mine does the same. Drove across 4 empty hexes and got credit for the first and 3rd hex but not the other 2. Open farmland for each and was even green but nothing. Made no sense.
@CryptoChicken I wonder if anyone from GEODNET is watching here, or how they might be informed the quest doesn’t seem to be working as advertised? I suppose there is no way to know.
already hexplored some new ones!
Dust off those geo-pulses if you got them; Geodnet started another Hexplorer quest that’s running for the next 26 days….one of the few times you can try to ROI your device.
5 hexes per day that haven’t been mapped yet, 20 $GEOD per hex.

Looking like that may be hard to do outside of the additional increase received by using the geo-pulse with other Depin devices i.e. bee. I was disappointed to learn that on the hexplorer quests that once hex has been mapped it will always remain unable to be mapped again. So once you're area is saturated with mapped hex’s from either a previous hexplorer quest or the current one you will be unable to obtain any geod tokens.
