@Monk112 is yours the wifi indoor or outdoor hotspot ? If it's outdoor I am not sure I never had the chance to explore an outdoor one but from what I understand the outdoor one u can chang antennas like u can on the ioT minors but the indoor ones unfortunately again as far as I know you can't change it it's on the bottom of the hotspot the metal back faces out tword the area you wanna cover the antennas is right behind it never lay out hot spot directly down with the bottom facing down it will kill the signal it must be on its side with the back facing tword the area you wanna cover usually they come with an virtual mounding stand that keeps it up on its side for you , here I'll try and post an reply again to this with a pic of how I have mine setup for an example
hi, glad to hear that its working. I am wondering if my site would be good. I have a top floor and roof in an urban setting. I am relatively low but I have tall apartment buildings all around. I can probably see 100-150 different apartment windows.
An omni directional antenna would work well in my setting, but the unit has a directional antenna. I wonder if it would be possible to get a different antenna ?
