@Xrave Thanks for the example here, I have another Geodnet I’m installing at my parents and I’d like to provide them profits. However, placing the device on split Miner initially now makes sense.

Does anyone know if there is a way to switch a GEOD miner to split revenue? I don't want to loose my location NFT/Backbone status, but see no other way to switch to splitting revenue. I installed this miner at a friend's house and it's unhandy to need to manually send him his share of the revenue. Any ideas?
Nope. I checked on this way back when I was setting up my first station. You have to remove it entirely from your console and then readd it as a split miner.
The NFT for the station stays in your wallet, however once you add it as a split miner you will start the 30 day RRR count down to qualify for the NFT again. Once you do then you go into the NFT page on your console and choose to rebind the NFT.
As an FYI, even for my deployments where I’m not splitting I still set it up as a split miner, specifically to avoid this situation. You just use your own wallet address as the split address so you get the full 100% rewards to your own wallet.
